About Monica Richey

Monica Richey has been a nurse for 23 years, 19 of them in the field of rheumatology. She received her training at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, where she worked for 10 years, and developed several different patient education programs including cardiovascular disease, contraception and preventive health prevention for lupus and APS patients. She served as the advocate member-at large for the Rheumatology Nurse Society (RNS). She is a faculty member of Rheumatology Association of Advance Practice Providers - RHAPP
Currently she is the Senior Nurse Practitioner at the Division of Rheumatology at Northwell Health in New York and is a adjunct professor at Hofstra University.
